An Area Manager's responsibilities:
- Effectively implementing retail strategies across all of their stores.
- Providing regular store visits, which will allow them to monitor progress and review performance levels.
- Checking store compliance (health & safety, stock control, store standards etc.)
- Assisting the management team in the daily operation of the store.
- Encourage achievement of sales targets.
- Ensuring delivery of high standards of customer service.
- Communicate and implement the strategies given from Head Office.
Skills Required for Area Manager Jobs:

- Financially astute with the ability to analyse and interpret profit and loss accounts and sales figures
