Job Role - General Store Manager - Leading UK Retailer:
- Delivering the company concept and championing all the company brands
- Delivers the brands through excellent visual impact by ensuring the store is merchandised to the highest standards
- Has a "customer first" mentality and drives customer loyalty through excellent standards and service
- Maximises opportunities and drives sales and profit through all the brands
- Uses reports and data to identify and act upon store and area-wide opportunities
- Is responsible for and manages all store operational processes
- Plans staffing to maximise team effectiveness and store productivity
- Leads, inspires and develops the team through the competencies
- Coaches and develops the management team
- Identifies and acts upon individual / team development requirements to support the area and company succession plan
- Builds excellent relationships with the field and head office teams and external businesses to influence stock packages, visual merchandising, brand initiatives, etc
- Being aware of external influences and reacting quickly to them
- Feeding back to Area Manager on business-wide issues and shares best practice with their peers
- Manages visits / meetings and maintains a high profile with Area Manager, Retail Controller, General Manager and all brand representatives
- Overall leadership in all aspects of their business
- Leads by example in all aspects of retail management
Key Attributes - General Store Manager - Leading UK Retailer:
- Proven experience as a senior manager from within a fashion related environment
- Experience of managing the complexities of a multi brand business
- Managed a team of 30 or more in a fashion retail environment with a turnover of at least £3.5m
- Commercially astute with strong market knowledge
- Confident in own ability
